Emil - 13March 5, 2004 2:30 - 2:43 pm When all else fails, try love! That is assuming, of course, that you are at the end of your rope and you are willing to try anything – including love. Ugh! Oh yes, there are many folks who subscribe to this way of life. Basically they are trying to go it alone. They don’t need the love of parents or family. They don’t need the love of friends. They don’t need the love of God, and they most certainly don’t need the love of self! You have run across such people, have you not? And how did you try to help them? Did you give them your love regardless – perhaps sending secretly? Did you talk with them – perhaps telling them about love in a roundabout way? Or did you simply turn your back and shrug them off? How do you think God handles these folks? Obviously, God keeps trying to break through the barrier wall that they have built around themselves. Obviously, God keeps sending little messages of hope. And, oh yes, God keeps sending you, for often you are the one person in the entire universe who can smile and give them love face to face. Concern yourself not about rejection for it is love being rejected, not you. Concern yourself only on seeking the best opportunity in offering your God given love. It will be accepted eventually.
