Enlightenment is not only of the soul, enlightenment is also of the mind and the body. The body needs enlightenment so that it can remain the temple of the soul, and the mind needs enlightenment so that the body can function.

Enlightenment of the body comes from the mind. The mind is fully conscious of this responsibility, but it, the mind, will occasionally get sidetracked as it experiences the earth. It then becomes the responsibility of the soul to gently pull back the straying mind so that the body can continue to function.

Although other earth-bound souls do become involved, enlightenment of the mind comes primarily from the soul, for the soul is of Spirit and, as such, it is already fully enlightened. However, occasionally, the soul will forget its own enlightenment and it, the soul, will flounder as if sinking in the sea.

Enter the Spirit!

Enlightenment from the Spirit comes in many forms: The Spirit Itself, soul mates, Guides and Guardians, and earthly friends of the floundering earthly soul.

The floundering soul may well panic in its distress and fight off those who are attempting to give aid. In such a case the soul will eventually be reborn at a later time so that it may re-experience its original enlightenment. There is no condemnation thus attached to that soul – there is only the love that passes all earthly understanding.

The soul, the mind, and the body are a Trinity. When one part is in difficulty then the other two must triage that which requires aid. Total enlightenment depends on a fully functioning Trinity, therefore, to become fully enlightened, your soul, your mind, and your body must work as a team.
