“Knowing the inner workings of yourself brings self-enlightenment. Yes, I know that I have made similar statements in the past, and I shall continue to do so in the future. However, the statements will be made in slightly different ways so that different people will be able to understand. Hearing an: “Oh, I see what he means,” tells me that my message has been understood at last. “You are a complex creature – everything that Spirit creates is complex – therefore, you are not expected to fully know yourself in one overnight session. You are the result of many incarnations in many diverse areas of the universe and you cannot expect to know how those experiences have made you what you are. Concentrate on THIS present life. Know WHAT you are, WHO you are, and WHY you are in this present moment. “To do this you must be quiet for a period each day. During this time ask yourself the type of questions I have been posing to you. But don’t stop there. Make up your own questions. After all, it is YOU, trying to get to know YOURSELF. Who else could ask more effective questions. “At the moment you are on the right track. Keep going. Don’t lose steam and you will eventually find yourself at the secret place called “Self-knowledge.” From there it is but a short distance to enlightenment.” JAMES
