Emil - 5February 21, 2004 The calmness of the soul is in direct relationship to the love of God as shown by the mind and the body of the soul. The body and mind are, of course, parts of the soul – or least where the soul resides – but they are able to override the desires of the soul if the soul is weak enough. The love for God comes from the soul, yes, but, to repeat, that love can be watered down, or diminished, by the worldly desires of the body and mind. The soul, being of God, has no worldly desires other than to experience an earthly incarnation. Once that particular experience is over, then the soul moves on – perhaps to another earthly experience, but perhaps not. The love that the soul has brought forth for God and its fellow humans stands the tests of time and is never lost or forgotten. Thus, while the body fades back into the earth, and the mind re-members back into the soul, that soul-love expands as new experiences give growth to the soul. An earthly experience is not necessary to love God, or to love self (the soul). Love may be found throughout the entire universe and it is available to give, or receive, at any time and at any level. Give love to God and received it back from the universe. Emil
