How I Channel

It has been a number of years since I explained how I channel the messages that various entities give me. Perhaps it is time to do so again.

Under normal circumstances I sit in my meditation garden after having had breakfast and returning from my morning walk. However, these past few months have been unusually cold here in Florida so I often sit inside the house and meditate. My two cats chasing each other, or their incessant meowing as they bring me their favorite toy, or the dog scratching on the door to go out, all tend to make indoor meditation a little difficult – but, we try!

Anyway, it is during my meditation that I “hear” from whichever entity it is that I am currently in touch with. I do not actually hear a voice, I simply sit with a pad and pencil and somehow I know what to write. This is not a form of automatic writing where the pen moves on the paper with some kind of force of its’ own – I simply know what to write. Once I have the message I then transcribe it on my computer (an error can easily occur here as my hand-writing is not easy to read at the best of times and because as I channel I am more concerned with the words rather than legible writing).

Thus it was, as with Ras-Jas-Feni’s message #11, that I missed a key word that caused his message to be misinterpreted. Personally, I did not pick that up but, fortunately, a couple of readers did and they questioned me about it. I then checked back with Ras-Jas-Feni and he was able to correct the message. This was a good example of how important it is for the readers of these messages to let me know if they find fault, or a typing error, so that I can verify the point one way or another.

Obviously, these entities know my vocabulary and they do not use words that I am unfamiliar with. Each seem to have their own unique style of writing and that not only strikes me as most interesting but it also helps me to confirm that it is not just another part of me talking to myself. Buddha is a prime example of this, the way he wrote his messages was totally different than any other entity and the style was completely foreign to me; I’ve since tried to write in this way and I fail miserably.

Some entities give me a message every day, others do not. At the moment Pretorius is the one I am channeling. He, for instance, will often give me three or four messages a day. Because I send out messages only three times a week I often have three and a half weeks messages waiting in the wings. Pretorius is also different in that in March 2011 he began to speak through me – at a metaphysical discussion group meeting he actually answered group questions for 45 minutes.

While the content of their messages makes sense to me most of the time, sometimes a message is way beyond my understanding of what a particular entity is “talking” about. It is often with such messages that I will hear from a reader with words to the effect, “Basil, that message was for me, it answered a situation I have been facing for a week or so.”

I must emphasize that I am not psychic or a medium. I started this type of channeling after attending the Gateway Voyage© program in 2002 at The Monroe Institute in Faber, Virginia. Since 2002 I have channeled: Emil, a very old soul who lived on Earth eons ago; James, who had once been a Lama in Tibet; The Group, who were comprised of a number of different “Masters” who used Philippa as their spokesperson; Bluestone, the most prolific of them all with 307 messages in 21 months, (I self-published his 100 messages and the book, now in its’ second printing, is still available) he came from Roddondo, a planet way out in the far Universe; Jesus himself was most interesting as was Buddha; Joe, didn’t say much about himself, he simply wanted to tell how important it is to love yourself; Athena, spoke about wisdom but she was not the goddess with that same name; Roger of Aquarius, did not stay long, he spoke knowingly of substance, the building block for the Creator but he got deeper and deeper and way beyond my comprehension so I asked for someone new and along came; Adam, spoke on behalf of the universal well-being; Salibad, came from M-326, a star-cluster far, far beyond our Milky Way; Ramses, was interested in telling us how the Universe affects Earth and how Earth affects the Universe; Ras-Jas-Feni, who speaks of our “essence” which is his way of referring to what we call our soul; Marvin talked about the Universe and how it works; Raphael, much loved and sorely missed after only 39 messages, spoke to all who were willing to hear about their place in the Universe and even took us with him to various new planets that he and his team were preparing for soul habitation. At the moment I am hearing from Pretorius who goes throughout the Universe and the Earth to lighten the way home for those souls who desire to return to The Supreme One.
