Pretorious Meditations - 5
The essence of your body always seems to need rest but your brain always seems to seek out that which is new and exciting; so, at times, your body and your brain seem to be in conflict. Let us see if this very easy meditation will end that conflict for a few moments. Have a journal and a pen with you, get the kitchen timer and set it for 10-15-20 minutes or however long you wish. Now, because your body is tired, sit in an easy chair and relax. Envision a scene that you like best and simply sit for a little while. Then, ask your brain to go into that focus level and to remember what it sees and what it experiences … then allow your brain to go into complete free flow. Allow your brain to explore without any hindrance what-so-ever. When your kitchen timer goes off, gently move your arms and legs and then ask your brain for a report. Be sure to journal that report. During the coming days think on the content of that report, reread it occasionally, and act accordingly. Until next time, Pretorius
