When knowledge of self is fully obtained you will know it from within your soul. Your mind and body will feel at peace and you will be able to “see forever!” Seeing forever” is, of course, a metaphor. It is not sight with your eyes that I speak of, but sight with your soul. At the point of full self-knowledge, you will not only understand self, but you will also understand love – the kind of love that has escaped you so far – the kind of love that passes all human understanding. It is based upon that love (and, of course, self-knowledge) that you will then move on towards knowledge of the universe, and finally, knowledge of Spirit. At that time you will have achieved full enlightenment. The question now arises as to where you are in the subject of self-knowledge. Do you know WHO you are? Do you know WHY you are? Do you know WHERE you are in self-knowledge? If you are unable to answer these questions in the affirmative – IN DETAIL – then you are not yet ready to move on toward the next stage of achieving enlightenment. However, do not fret, it does take time, but the rewards are great. Enlightenment not only brings you face to face with yourself (your REAL self), but more importantly, enlightenment brings you face to face with Spirit, and that is an achievement that your soul has yearned for for eons.
